For me, probably the main downside to this one is zero insert effects. 28 for the Genos, 8 for the SX900, 5 for the SX700, there’s a ton of power in creating a perfect sound by the use of inserts. A phaser for a Rhodes, a guitar amp sim for a lead, spatializers on synth sounds, secondary reverbs, weird echo effects, bass compressors, the possibilities are endless...

If you want to individualize your sound, nothing is as easy as strapping a few inserts across some of the style or SMF parts as well as your solo sounds..! For these alone I think the jump up to the SX700 is worth it.
