Donny I bought a pig tail on Amazon that snaps onto the 9V battery connector inside of the FS6. I connected the pig tail to a low current 9V adaptor (wall wort). No more changing the battery! I agree that it was a nuisance but I like the heavy construction and positive operation of the FS6 compared to the individual spring-hinged foot switches. YMMV.
