Fran, nearly all my hand tools, wrenches, ratchet, box, etc..., were either Craftsman or Snap On, which were of the highest quality.

My power tools were all purchased from Harbor Freight, mostly electric drills, orbital sanders, buffers, chisels, saws, all of which are, after more than 15 years, still holding up well. This, despite the fact they were used a lot on my boat, which is a nasty, saltwater, environment.

I purchased a backup generator for my home from Lowes, which after 10 years, still fires up on the first or second pull of the starter cord. I'll stick to my guns on my tools.
