stop John...In no way was I ever interested in another
SD7 after owning two of them in the past, Dave's,
or anyone elses for that matter.
It is a very nice arranger KB but just not for my needs.

That was posted two weeks ago,I rest my case.... smile smile smile smile smile smile smile

what case is that, John ?

Tony,
I wrote about two weeks ago how remarkable ( funny if you like) it was that out of the four "D's" ( Don, Donny, Dave and Deane) two of them were playing on a Ketron SD7 and two others seemed to be interested in purchasing Dave's. Somewhere I read that Don "had made Dave an offer " but apparently I was wrong and did it not concern the SD7 as Don stated he had no interest.
Donny on the other hand, although vehemently denying being interested......oh well, see above. Does this mean I know Donny better than he knows himself ??!!! ...... ( joke).
So what have we got so far:
Deane and Donny both playing the KEtron SD7 as their main or even sole instrument. Dave awaiting delivery of the upmarket versio of the SD7 namely the SD60. Which only leaves Don in the wings and I would not be surprised that within a couple months he will be playing a Ketron (again) too. More likely the SD60 then.....haha!!!
Incidentally I am not saying people should buy a Ketron. I have the SD7 and it suits me fine. I traded my PA1000 and for the same amount of money I was lucky to get a Ketron SD7 plus a Korg PA50sd.
I still stand by my conviction that if you are performing in public and if you also are a singer the Ketron , along with the PA4X should be at the top of your list. The Genos is also outstanding but more suited for instrumentalists imho.
Another firm belief of my is that , most certainly if you are not a performer but only play at home, there is no beating having two arranger keyboards of two different brands. You can do so on any price level really.....

Case closed ?

Regards,
John
