Sorry ti hear it. been there myself, just when you think you have something good going Bam! something happens, and recently we've all had the rug pulled out from under us. I was going to throw my thoughts in but after reading your last post I thnk you will do fine. All I can say is don't make "gigs" yout top priority when choosing a relocation. Who knows what will be availabe in the future. Been to the Finger Lakes once and loved it. With technology some of your ideas may work out playing/teaching from home. And who knows when things calm down there may be that little restaurant somewhere to park yourself in.
