As I can see, people, who are working in electronic dance music genre (EDM) are usually happy using a computer with $100-$300 MIDI keyboard. They achieve the sound which can be a bit aggressive to my taste, but which is convincing for target audience. Personally I doubt that many of them would consider buying $600 Korg i3 if its sound doesn't meet their standards. In this sphere is also vital that new sounds can be added or created.
But for those who just wants to play, it's an interesting option.
By the way, according to the manual, it has a lot of styles in every genge, not just EDM.
No new styles. Same pa80 styles ( from year 2000) No style creation. No pads that play loops.
Like I mentioned, PA300 or even PSR 670 will be better choice.
