However, the operating system on workstations tend to be considerably more complicated. Sure, you can get “arranger like” functionality with the more advanced arps they have, but it’s still with limitations.

Creating your own music is much more involved on the workstations too. They’ve simplified it more over the years, but the arranger is going to do it faster requiring less fiddling with settings, but the end result for both is still the same.

Squeak I'll agree to a point until you add in the
Repetitive arranger styles & parts that weren't originally
created in the first place vs multi tracking on a workstation
sequencing your own work and each part..
