While most folks believe a website provides a bit of professionalism to your musical entertainment biz, in the 15 years I had a site up and running, with a contact me link, I never booked a single job directly from the site - NOT ONE! Direct mail was the most effective tool I used, which was the best link to meeting with those individuals one on one, which produced 99 percent success. When I dropped the website from all of my direct mail no one noticed.
