As long as nobody physically use it to create music, it's not any more than a dead thing full of electronic equipment.
As soon as someone operate it and makes music or sounds, then we have a musical instrument.
It's the same with most of the things we call musical instruments, if noone make music on it, it's nothing else than a useless 'thing'.

Btw, when see the buttons and layout at the top panel, it reminds me of Ketron SD1, also some arrange moules I've seen.
