A week or so ago a friend of mine and fellow entertainer Kent Gill sat in with me for the evening.
Kent plays great fiddle, mandolin, but on this one he played guitar. I did the rest of Roland EA7.
The song is faithful to the original version of Midnight Special, which was written and recorded by a Shreveport resident, Hudie Ledbetter, better known as "Ledbelly".
Thought you might enjoy hearing it. Kent is singing it.
