Fran, Why doesn't Roland hire you to design and implement the necessary features to make a Roland arranger to keep current with other manufacturers. They designed a great machine in the G70...but didn't follow up with any real competition. The E-Series was poorly marketed. The GW-7, GW-8 and Prelude used the sonic cell sound chip which couldn't compete with Korg and Yamaha offerings. It seems to me, that had they utilized their better sound engines in a more compact and contemporary design...they would be a real contender today. Either that or make a 61 key version of the G70 with a few updates.
I applaud your continued enthusiasm for the G70. I don't know how you do it!
