I don't dislike the current SK1 at all ... it has a LOT going for it, in a great, lightweight package ... but if I knew a newer model was coming out (it's been 5 years), I'd wait a little longer before considering a purchase .... seems most of the major keyboard makers (such as Yamaha, Nord, Roland, Korg) have an update to a given model line within 5 years or sometimes a little less than 5 years.

Would be interesting to know how it compares, from a user that has used both, to the Nord similar models like Electro 6 Compact . . .
