Any other bored geeks out there that are into VR (virtual reality)? I'd been dabbling in it on the cheap with a Gear VR and my Galaxy phone for a while now but decided it was too much of a hassle and went for a standalone unit, the Lenovo Mirage Solo w/Daydream. So suddenly I jumped from @ $35.00 to $400.00. BIG MISTAKE! Although it's decidely less hassle, the overall performance is no better (maybe not even as good) as the cheapo unit. Because of the 'convenience' factor, I haven't (won't) send it back but I must say, I'm disappointed. Not only is the content for the Lenovo far behind the much cheaper Samsung unit but the content that IS available is damn expensive.

I only posted this 'cause a lot of musicians (especially synth and arranger players) are tech geeks (hi Abacus, Bachus, Nigel, et al smile ) and I was just wondering if any of them had tried this expensive diversion smile.
