There is also a great variation in price from state to state in the USA, which I think is controlled by Technics.
Case in Point:
I found a dealer in CT advertising the KN7000 on the internet. I live in Central Florida. I called on the phone and the dealer stated that he could not quote me a price over the phone because I was calling from Florida, but I would be pleased with the price. He said that if I came to his store he could sell me the keyboard at a great price, but not over the phone. Fortunately, my oldest son lives close to CT(MA) and he called the dealer and was able to purchase the KN7000 for me for about 40-45% less than I could from a dealer in Florida, and had it drop shipped down here.
I don't think buyers in Florida make more $$ than in CT or MA. It's rather a strange marketing practice by Technics. But "there is more ways than one, to skin a cat" my Dad always told me.
