La Bamba was, and has always been very popular here, but the translated lyrics make absolutely no sense at all to most of my Latino friends and relatives. I recorded this during a live performance using the S-970 several years ago. Used an old cha cha style, my custom guitar voice for the right hand picking. Here's my rendition of
