You are suggesting 2 totally different things..

- one is a soundsource only (vst) ..
- the other is an arranger module..(and a sound module)

Ask yourself what you miss most in the Casio
-is it the styles that fall short?
-or are it the sounds?

If you answer that, you have your answer..

By the way, good sounds on pc don’t have to be expensive..
Even better, there are quite a few high quallity free vst’s in the synth department..

And if you want great sounds almost for free, and own an ipad, walk that way...
