Here's a cut from my friend Robin Vosbury's Christmas album.
Robin did all tracks, played all the parts and did the vocal. He recorded and mixed in his own studio. Robin is the father of Cole Vosbury, who was a finalist on The Voice a few years ago.
He got another friend, Linnea Fayard Alan to sing the girl's part. He said she did it in one take.
Years ago, maybe 1986 or so, Linnea was in the Miss Louisiana contest. I did the sound track for her vocal performance. I used a Technics arranger and some modules. She won, and later placed second or third in the Miss America contest.
