While Don and I usually talk on the phone nearly every week, there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about jumping on a plane and flying to Shreveport to pay him and his lovely wife a visit. Unfortunately, my health issues currently preclude me from doing that.

While my lungs continue to deteriorate from asbestosis and pulmonary fibrosis, I can still belt out a tune once in a while. I thought about this song this morning at breakfast, came down to the basement office, fired up the S-950 and came up with this tribute to Don and all my entertainer heroes that I have met over the years.
