Don't want to sound like a wet blanket but I wasn't that impressed with the 'Hammond' sounds either. Maybe I've just been listening to too many good 'clonewheels' lately. They're not actually bad, just not 'great' (IMO). They would work in a mix, probably not so much as a solo instrument. But hey, it's all subjective. If it works for YOU and it works for your audiences, then who's to complain. I'd like to hear the opinion of BK9 owners (they have a reputation for having good organ sounds for an arranger).
