Yes, she is the real deal. Has has a degree in music from Belmont University in Nashville.
Her biggest problem is that she is financially secure and doesn't NEED to be a huge success.
She did try hard when she was a little younger and ALMOST made it several times, but something always got in the way. She sings sometimes with some really big names in Nashville, including the Time Travelers.
