Coverting styles between models and brands has been done as long as I can remember, so that is nothing new.
Also 'no backwards' compability is not any new thing. Technics did it that way, Ketron does it.
I don't see any problem if Yamaha choose to build new styleformats and make it hard to convert or copy as long
as the new Arrangermodels are capable to load and adapt styles from past models as well as editing and creation
at new the keyboard is possible.
