Not sure about midi files in Ricco's performance - so what? A lot on this forum use this method.

What is interesting though is the notion that Ricco might be overboard in his joy - so what? Isn't this what music is supposed to do to us?

When practice/performances become 'emotional', it is the biggest joy one can have, IMO
