Don't get me wrong but I love my headworn mic. It gives me total freedom of movement and being blind in my right eye, the ability to see my ipad better without obstructions like a mic in my face. But I can sing with better control without having to fiddle with the volume control all the time. I can set my handheld mic just a little bit too loud and back off to get the right balance between soft and loud passages. Yes I know, breath control is the key but your expression is limited with the headset. Breath control means you must hold back in spots. That means you can't get as much power to sing clearly in spots that are very soft in the first place.
Just my thoughts.
