Enjoyed that a lot Don. As a matter of fact it is living proof of the fact that progress with arranger keyboards is a relative conception. Most of your performances also beg the question why Korg (for crying out loud) did away with Performances and replaced them by Keyboard Sets. Most of what I have seen from you you resort to either a guitar or piano sound for the right hand with the occasional sax, etc. In short you probably would not be using more than what 20 to 30 righthand settings ? So why would you need 500 spaces to save these righthand settings.
Glad to hear you are back on your PA4X.
I have just finished programming my JS Resources for the PA1000 and will release more news on Sunday. And nope, they are not meant for the PA4X nor the PA700. Although I will produce a similar PA700 set in two or three months'time.
Looks like Donny, Mel and me are about the only PA1000 players currently active on the SZ forum overhere !!

John
Hi John,
I actually use the keysets exactly as I did the Performances, to call up sounds. I have my favorite 10 sounds set where one touch calls them up immediately. I always relied on Songbook, once it was "invented". Still, I do have the option of using playlists if I want. You can set them up quickly and almost automatically.
Uncle Dave has a PA1000 as well as the guys you mentioned. It's not out of the question that I get one. I want to try and keep two arrangers. Currently the 4x and the S970, but the S970 may go and I could stick to one OS, with joysticks, great Vocal Harmonizers, Songbooks, touch screen, etc. If the PA1000 accepted the EC5 pedal, I would already have one! Or even if both pedals were programmable.
