We have friends who the father's parents were born in Mexico and now live in New Mexico ... through them we learned of the Quinceañera when their daughter turned 15 years old ... the family went to New Mexico to celebrate and it was an affair much like your daughter's ... no doubt these celebrations are second only to the young lady's wedding ...
Our friends' daughter just graduated college and is on her way to law school, so, yes, the years go fast ... as the song says "Don't Blink"
