Haven’t converted genos, but have converted some psr styles over the years.
Earlier ones seem to work best.
The structure was similar to what the korg could import. Ie they were based on major 7th chord for the variations and fills, and a bit of copy and paste, I could get the intros endings to work.
The markers worked well too, just had to rename them from psr format to korg and swap midi channel 11 and 9 around to suit. The rest of the channels were ok.
Managed to do it all via my old Xg works sequencer.

Haven’t tried midi split.

Tried with some of the newer styles , but ran into some problems with guitar tracks.
