Okay, so the skill-set required to play them may be the same but there is a HUGE difference between a traditional accordion and a midi accordion. For the record, I prefer the midi accordion. Several observations (based soley on my personal opinion):

1. The guy is a good, competent, 'lounge pro'.
2. Although normally not a big fan of Ketron, I have to admit that it provides some of the best accompaniment among arranger keyboards.
3. I liked that jazz waltz (around 2:05) although there wasn't much 'accordionish' about it.
4. The guy is better looking than Uncle Dave smile.
