I doubt my S1 could put out the sound in a large setting that my DXR10 could, but the S1 is a lot of sound for the size. And truth be known, I’d much rather carry two 15lb speakers than two 40lb speakers.

Also, at lower volumes my S1 competes very well against my other speakers.

When I asked a Bose tech how so much sound came out of a small unit, he said it had to do with efficiency and speakers all working together...that’s what he said anyway.
