Audya hardware problems are virtually non existent so this is very likely the connector by the volume control has worked loose in transit (Audya 76).

Open up your audya and look to the right of right hand pcb in the top of the keyboard. unplug that connector and plug and unplug the connector a few times (to clear any oxidization from the pins)and once back in use a and use a self adhesive cable tie mount about 2" from the connector. Use a cable tie to hold the cable in position - that should sort your channel problem permanently.
