GJ, when I loved in Spokane, Washington, I saw the same type of roadways every winter. They cleared the road there with a massive snow blower mounted on the front end of a road grader. The first year I lived there, we had 100 vertical inches of snow on our front lawn and I had to shovel the snow from our roof three times during the winter to prevent it from caving in from the excess weight of the snow. By the end of March, the snow had pretty much melted in the lowlands and the Spokane River rose about 25 feet. No big deal, this happened every year.
Neat photo,
Gary
