Deane, I go through bouts with vertigo. A couple of times some years ago I went to the ER because it was so bad. They never found a reason for it, but ruled out all the bad stuff they could. They gave me a prescription for some pills that seemed to work. It doesn't bother me much any more, but I still get a little dizzy sometimes.
I do feel it is related to ears though.
I hope you get it straightened out because it is a scary feeling, as you know!
