Turn down the volume knob on the back of the 1000 and make sure you don't overdrive the input. By the way just send the 1000 a mono signal from the mixer not a stereo signal the mic channel is mono.

Just curious on which output to use:

1. xlr mic INTO channel 1 of my Yamaha mixer (I have my audio outputs of keyboard L/R into channels 5/6 of my mixer)
2. I have my XLR outs of mixer into my QSCs
3. Now, what output do I use from the mixer to the mic input of the keyboard?
