How often do we have to be reminded that each person's responses, motivations, reasons, and actions are as valid FOR THEM as the next guy's. Gary is motivated by one thing, Uncle Dave, another. Both are equally valid. SOOOOOoooo, 'DO i REALLY NEED THE LATEST KEYBOARD?'. Only YOU can decide that, because it's you, and only you, that determines your "criteria for judging".

Some people are really stimulated by the prospect of something new; just check out how many divorced guys there are out there . So I guess in some cases it's "if I can't get a new wife, at least I can get a new keyboard" (plus, getting a new keyboard is a lot cheaper ). Just My (valid for me) Opinion.
