My ancient Ultimate Support "pipe" stand is just as adjustable, just as easily customized, just as stable and even lighter in weight. I can break it down quickly, but I don't; I just fold it flat and slide it in the van.
Set up or take down is like, two seconds!
I also made a smaller one that folds flat in 10 seconds. I made it from spare parts, of which I still have a lot around.
