Its also a midi effect generator, that can be used for so many things.. substituting for a very basic arranger is one of them, altough it falls miles short to current arrangers when used specifically in that function..
On top of that, Karma is quite hard to program, when you want to get predictable results..
Maybe you remember the above video, specially made for us synthzoners to show how Karma can be used as an arranger..
Also check out this video :
In this more recent video James shows how to use Karma to enhance non synth instruments, after people complained on Korg forums that it could only be really used with synth sounds..
For 2 years now, i have been trying to integrate Karma into my arranger performances, its not as easy as it sounds... remember me to post a video of this when i get home from vacation next week, i will see if i can show you some integration..
I wouldn’t really post details like that, so as not to alert the less honest. (Remember the internet is not as anonymous as some people believe)

Well, this is synthzone, a little honesty never hurt me, i never claimed to be a champ player, and never will, just love making music and discussing gear...
Programming Karma is one of the harder things.... true, you can get good results by just trying things, but that works much like programming FM sounds from scratch, you never know what you are gonna get.. but programming Karma freshly from scratch requires a lot of insight... its more like a mathamatical tool, then a musical one...
Hi Bachus
I was talking about the advertising in the paragraph just after you mentioned the video; it’s certainly not something you want to happen twice, so best not to advertise.
