I was told the same thing --- you get warmer sound and more bass with a 10” speaker. Hard to understand.

I used a fender twin reverb amp. for my guitar – 2 12” speakers. The fender reverb (Name) had 2 10” speakers; again warmer with more bass – but not as loud.

PS, The three pieces I referred to were two Eon G2 speakers and a mixer. I was using a Kn7000 at that time.
