Hi
I tried it back on my pa800, but the sample memory was so limited , couldn't fit much.
I did a couple of jazz brush swishes.
Idea was something along the lines of what Ketron does.
2 drum kits .
One as a background ( audio)
One midi, to give variety.
So basically my idea was to have audio brush swish as background ( sounded so much better and the midi ones)
Then use the midi drums for bass, snare etc for rhythm.
Worked as pads too.
I didn't want to be constantly loading and unloading samples, idea was to just do a few core ones.
I did try it with a couple of drum loops too,
Fun part was using , when using the cut drum loop in style or pad, , instead of using the midi notes in the order they were assigned, you could actually mix them up and come up with a new pattern.
Must have a look back thru my biab real drums, and see if there are any suitable loops.
Probabably the pa4x functions are far better than on the pa800.
More sample memory might be worth taking another look at.
