I love using two Maui 5's. But you do need two for stereo. Best bet in one unit is the Nano, either the one you have or one bigger. I think my Nano 300 sounds great with the PA4X. Even then, I most often use two of them, but you CAN get true stereo separation with one unit.
I've only used them once since getting the Mauis, when I needed to be set up in two different rooms the same night.
