I used to LUG one of these bulky thrones around just more gear to carry around all the time until I wised up and just used what ever they had at the gig, I carry a nice memory foam pillow works great just in case,..... less is more.
The cushion looks like a good idea. I found cheaper cushions on Amazon and eBay. I don't take my heavy throne to gigs either, but if I need to, I take this light stool.
