Just got back from a visit to a new music store here. They had both the Reach and Bose Compact next to each other near the front door. The Reach is smaller than I expected and has some heft to it. They had it sitting on a table. Neither was hooked up but the store owner said the Reach is much louder and has more bass than the Compact. For what we do he said you would almost definatly need a sub with it unless your doing soft backround music. So the Reach sitting on a behrinnger 1200D 12" sub might be a kickin little setup.
