Actually as a performance synthesizer, it took till now for it even to get some competition(montage)

You cant compare jp80 to an i7 maybe some of the sounds are the same, but as performance instruments they are totally different...

"Some of the sounds are the same" - I suggest you compare the data lists and look into the Jupiter 80 forum on Musikerboard, what Jupiter 80 owners have written about their thoughts of I7...
The Integra 7 has about 90% of the Jupiter 80 sounds - the only ones missing are SN-A sounds of an older generation, which are of a minor quality according to Jup80 owners. But IN TURN, the I7 has got many ADDITIONAL SN-A sounds, particularly in the SN-A expansions, which are all missing in the Jup80.
Not to mention the ENTIRE SRX library, of which there is NOTHING in the Jup80.
The SN-Synth section is identical in Jup80 and Integra.
So apart from the 256-voice polyphony of the Jup80, the Integra outclasses the Jup80 soundwise - and I've read about Jup80 owners scratching their head about spending so much more money, not knowing the Integra would be released.
