I have played much cheaper Yamaha arrangers with no knowledge of how to operate them but in a minute have been able to get a reasonable sound from them. When I tried the Casio MX at NAMM that wasn't the case at all. And don't get me wrong I am not down on Casio keyboards. They have always been good value. I just didn't get won over by the MX series.
