True Donny...but editing the actual sample in an arranger is not an easy task...if you can do it at all. Volume, Panning, Instrument selection, reverb, chorus and master effects seem to be the most prevalent editing features.

When you had the PA900...what were the features you did't like that drove you back to Yamaha? Korg seems to have accomplished some nice features and sound quality with the PA4X. But it comes at approx. 2K more than the 970. Apples and oranges maybe...
