If I have to preplan every change in a style or keyboard setup, than where is musicality, where is the spur of the moment thing? Where is the inspiration as a musician??
I pre-plan EVERYTHING long before I go to the job. Nothing spur of the moment, guess I don't like surprises.
The musicality and inspiration, however, comes every time I turn on the keyboard and look at the crowd in front of me. That's the old ham part of me coming out, which is the fun part as well.
