Bill I would say it would be better to setup the New S970 from scratch for the most part...I love the lightweight keybed..depending on the styles your using on your T2......yes you can probably load most of the reg data sounds styles etc, but due to the Mega,Sa,Audio styles, and other data you will have to go in and re-tweak many of your setups which isn't a problem and in the long run will sound alot better. I'd say just go for it and enjoy the S970, the lightweight benefit and VH2, Bigger display, is a plus also vs T2,...... Give Frank at AUDIOWORKSCT call he'll do you right for sure..
