Thank you, Nigel. I so agree with Waleed Aly. And, yes, he absolutely nails it. I call them terrorists but I won't call them Muslims for that would discredit every decent and peace-loving Muslim who condemns all this violence. I think it's about time that the media/governments start calling them terrorists only without even giving them the honor of being called Muslims. I had several conversations with Muslims when I was in Bangkok and they all said that these terrorists were NOT Muslim, that they didn't deserve to be called Muslim. According to them -and I agree with them- it's all about power and they use Islam in order to gather support from the people. Once they have what they want, the people are no longer of any use to them. Basically Politics 101.
