Thanks first to Sparky for introducing me (and I think quite a few others) to adaware and to Walter for the update address, but when I downloaded the update i got a REFFILE icon in the desktop and on unzipping this another icon of same name arrived. How do I get this to update the programme? Properties show it's 38.3 KB so assume it is the full update.

Incidentally, when these cookies/spyware are removed by adaware are they actually deleted from the hard disk or placed in a "safe" place.
