Just kidding! I've known Don Mason for more than a decade, met him right here on this site, then drove nearly 2,000 miles to see him perform at Earnest's in LA. He has always been a positive role model in the time that I have known him personally, and he has influenced me to always, as much as I could, to perform my songs better each time I do them.

A few weeks ago, he presented me with another challenge, which he usually does about once a month, a song that pretty much describes both his life and my own when it comes to making a living as a musician and entertainer. (He's the musician - I'm just an entertainer.) He posted and emailed me his rendition of the song, and last night, while I had the keyboard in the office, I fired it up, selected a style, then went to work on that song.
