After listening to the Wav. file, the horns/brass at the beginning sound relatively bland...
They don't sound good at the beginning because it is a soft solo trumpet played like a brass section and in a range a bit too low for the typical trumpet range. I stick to my guess that it is a Ketron "Swing Trumpet", as it sounds like in my SD 1000 version of Swingin' Safari.
The lack of any inflections (SA or DNC) on the trumpet and/or Brass, might eliminate any mid to high end Korg or Yamaha, so it is either a Ketron (an instrument I have yet to play or hear "live") or a Yamaha/Korg that predates SA/DNC.
Or, the previously mentioned DEEBACH.
It sounds pretty good...just not high end, at least to my ears.
