Hi Everyone,

As many of you know I'm on a bit of a mission to preserve information about Technics keyboards.

Many websites with excellent information have disappeared. Several of you who had websites previously have very kindly given me permission to publish that information on my websites and I'm very grateful for that.

A lot of the info has to be hunted down around the Internet and most of it can be recreated by using Internet archive sites like the Wayback Machine. It is pretty time-consuming finding that data and reformatting it but it is well worth it... satisfying when we see so many people making use of the end result. It also involves the re-creation of lost graphics and a sprinkling of guesswork!

If anyone reading this has archives of an old website, or used to be webmaster of a website, I will be really pleased to hear from you. Even if your site has disappeared I can probably still resurrect it if I have some clues such as the old Internet address.

I'm also gathering sales brochures, manuals and other info connected with the keyboards (and organs etc because at heart I'm an organist who started out on a Technics U20). So if you have any of these please contact me. A photocopy or scan of these documents contains info that I find interesting and useful, it doesn't need to be the original. Again, lots of typing to copy the info from it but this is very useful to people who are starting out with these instruments.

These are reliable keyboards and are 'new' to many people who are buying them second hand or being given them by family and friends who are upgrading.

Many thanks and best wishes,
Mike
